The perfect gift basket

Gift baskets are perfect for housewarmings, and donating to silent auctions and other fundraisers, but how do you make yours stand out?

My rules for gift baskets are simple:

1. Start with a theme - Every good basket starts with a theme that pulls it all together. Instead of random objects stuffed in a basket, a creative concept for the basket will take it to the next level.

2. Make it pop - Don’t be afraid to add different shapes, sizes, and colors to create dimension to the basket. People will be drawn to the variety within your gift.

3. Add a tag and tissue paper or other filler for the finishing touch - Adding a cute tag will be the finishing touch your basket needs. It can also be a simple way to explain the items in the basket with a catchy title. A way to make your basket look full is to add filler like shredding paper or tissue paper to the bottom.
